No one likes toobs, i think u guys have heard this phrase.

Now we put it 2 the test.

Ban the grenade launcher or not.

In my opinion they SUCK in hardcore mode. Being a huge fan of cod2 and remembering the good ol days when i didnt have 2 wry about helicopters and noobtoobs, im suprised i didnt make this post earlier.

When i say ban, that means anyone who comes in the server and uses toob once gets a warning, twice and they get kicked. Next banned.

I know you will not like my reply but I voted for no banned only because the chopper's airstrike and everything else is part of the game. If you start to banned for use of those thing's then you might as well start the banned of camper's in the corner with a sniper rifle or any of the other weapon's out there. I know I hate the player's that come in and use only tube's but hell when I am off my game I goto the MG and just sit there and spray anything that move's and some people call that a noob weapon. I have used every weapon on cod4 and so can every one else so i see no reason to ban a player just because of their own liking of some of the weapon's.

But camping, and spraying and sniping is soooooooo much different. At least u need 2 fuckin aim when ur doing those things. Also the gl isnt a weapon and THATS the problem. ppl are using it so excessivly that its like a weapon for them. its just an attachment. Harcore mode wasnt made for gl&#39;s so in actuallity you cant really say it was made for the game. As for people calling campers cheap, its somthing u can actually avoid. nades get rid of campers and snipers. wtf am i suppose 2 do when somone toobs around the entire time? quit? let them win? continue dieing endlessly?

i have to vote no, if u remove it then last stand should go as well, its more annoying to shoot some1 and have them kill u as they drop to the ground then kill some of ur teammates, thus retaining their kill streak. noob toobs can be highly annoying as well

Im my opinion, anything that takes less skill to get a kill with should go .claymores and martyr both take NO skill at all, then noob toobs, and last stand which take a bit(invincibility for a few secs is gay. I run out of ammo all the time cuz of that then they pop me.).. those are the main ones. but the more u look into it, things like nades for nadespam are also gay, same as sniping and camping which also take less skill... But i mean its part of the game so I will play however most ppl want to play. It just at what level you want to draw the line.

an brw tubes arnt unrealistic at all, the army use them, ther very afective, tubes dont necesarily kill ppl staight away, its just HC allows you to get 4-5 kills with tube thats unrealistic, but when in normal mode its harder to get lots of kill with tube


I dont get why the simplest option is not taken on board, since that is the cause of the main problem.

I think granede launchers the so called noobtube is something else, it cannot be compared to camping, claymores, last stand, marty, lmg ...etc you name it theyr all bareble, noobtube is a bitch.

The noob tube (wich is not called like this for nothing) is simply not well implemented into the game and going for the "its in the game" statement is assuming the IW programmers are perfect and not make any mistakes, hell they do thats why mods exsist into almost every PC game community. Now, we are not modded so what do we do? we vote for ban or not ban, simple as that.

I disagree Snipko. "No GranadeLauncher" anyone can understand it regardless the lenguage they speak "NO" its almost a universal word and you read "granade launcher" since you pick the attachement within the game so ppl might not speak english but theyr not stupid lol or at least I want to see it that way. As for the noobs only using the GL only its not necessarily true, Ive seen a lot of veteran players using it.

Another thing to consider is the fact that when were in the server and we say "lets play pistols only" everyone and i mean every sinlge one has followed the rule. Its been a few times but i remember a particular match when we were in Countdown playin sabotage and someone said pistols only when i noticed we were like 10-12 players on the server and everyone was using pistol btw McMonty was ther and the bitch moped the floor with ar asses using the m1911 I guess. Cmon ppl dont be so negative about this, it can be done.

you are right vice because i don`t know anyone who don`t know what "NO" means
i vote ban because is frustring playing s&d and someone kill you with noob tube just starting the round

i voted no cuz i think is part of the game and it posses a challenge to actually desing a way around it, don&#39;t get me wrong is frustrating and i hate it just as much, but there is nothing more gratifying that killing someone while reloading a nade into the tube or better yet knifing him/her is the ultimate humiliation.

I&#39;ve never actually used this granade launcher thing.. litterally not once as I don&#39;t know how to select it and dont&#39; care enough to find out.

That being said, I remember "noob tubes" from COD2 which were the shotguns(not that I ever used those either unless I picked them up)... there is always going to be weapons that other people dont&#39; like. I am perfectly happy living with whatever is put int he game, and dealing with it the best I can.


However I am definetly looking forward to WW2 again and the M1Garand(if it shoots anything like the one in COD2).
