Hey I ride a bmx ... with no reflectors or breaks... the only breaks I got are my feet...

You should be more considerate to us unique carbon footprintless bikers http://www.flyingright.net/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif

but those ones who dont wear helmets[/b] helmets are for pussies, cmon if you are riding max 30km/h, when there is a car just move away or brake...
Only when you are a pro-cyclist you HAVE TO use a helmet, like i do. I had once an accident together with 20 other cyclists and my friend fell on his head and his helmet broke in two pieces. You just dont wanna know what would have happened w/o that helmet. With pro-cycling i mean you have a decent bike (best is out of carbon) and you ride 30-60 km/h.

my bike:

well its not mine but its exactly the same, its the same type of Armstrong btw (for those who doesnt know Armstrong, he's an american and won 7 times the Tour de France, here is an img of him:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/comm...strong_2005.jpg (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d8/Lance_Armstrong_2005.jpg))

are u stupid?

1st off it doesnt matterif your riding or stationary with a bike
if a car hit you at 45mph you would be sent into the air
and you would be mince if a lorry hit you at 20
now imagine the impact if your going at 30 and the cars doing 40

iv seen this punk girl some time back early in the morning fly 2 meters up in the air when a car hit her <30mph

not wearing a helmet doesnt make u brave, it makes u stupid, foolish & irresponsible, like thoes stupid mums who cary their kids to school on their bikes with no helmets think that nothing will happen

when anything can happen, i say this cos iv hit a cyclist when coming out of a road, luckily for me the cyclist didnt press anything against me, i did have to pay for his private medical check up
the guy flew out of his bike even though i was just manoeuvring out of a road.
s
and lastly the whole point of the helmet is to absorb shock, not your brain, so it does break then you best kiss every broken piece cos that could have been your brains,
if you get hit on the head you get unconscious, and then after that if 6 wheels want to roll over you,
you wont have any choice but to become pancake, then EUS will have to scrape you off the ground

and lastly you cyclist just get on our fucking nerves, specially thoes teenage dicks on BMX with tracksuits falling off and one leg splayed out.

BULLSHIT!! CAR DRIVERS SHOULD STOP SPEEDED AND START USING THERE MIRRORS

HOW LAZY DO YOU NEED TO BE TO DRIVE A CAR?!

and for your information I use my BMX cos its light, easy to manouvre and the parts are cheap for it...... PLUS the fact that you dont need petrol and you have less chance of killing someone on a bicycle....

Why drive a car for 5 mins when you can ride a bike and get there in same time .... Driving a car short distances suck big time!
