Connecting to JointOps CODWAW server

Ok guys for now the server is cracked I am not sure if it will stay that way but what we have found out is being that it is cracked some legal players are not able to connect to the server you get a bad address or challenge. We think this is because of the cracked exe for private server. When a legal player log's into the game they log into the master server. Well the cracked server's dont use the master server so when you try to connect to it the master server will reply and say a error. But what we have found out is if you use a secondary type program to connect like HLSW (http://www.hlsw.org/) you can connect with no issue. Because when you login with HLSW you by pass the master server login and connect directly to the server. So I would suggest that all members start using HLSW it is a good program and you can store all your favourite server's in one spot.


One thing HLSW has not been update for CODWAW so when you add the server it will see it as a COD server it is really simple all you have to do is open settings local COD and then click on it. From there you can tell HLSW to use the CODWAW for the starting exe then the CODexe. Then add the server and connect it is no trouble. I have it already working I have tested it with legal copy with angels and my machine's and smitty has tried it as well and every thing works fine as of now so lets play some CODWAW and then we will see if the server goes legal or not.

doc nice job but i think i be playing in legal server untill ya dicide what will be with the server because if is nto like cod 4 thing i rather not mess around and brake somthing and then i cant play cod 5 at all hope the server stays leagel

King you are not going to break anything i am legal and so is my wife amoung redhawk and eus and we all played on it with no trouble. The HLSW program is no different then connecting with xfire or qtrack or all seeing eye. Just HLSW is alot better. All it does it log you into the server before the auto master server login has a chance to connect. Then when you want to play on a legal server you start the game normally and boom you have the server list up and connect. HLSW is no big deal man i have been using it for years go connect to server's COD CODUO COD2 COD4 CODWAW BF BF2 BFV sudden strike.

You can also use HLSW to save your favourite server so you dont have to find it on the server list every time

Yes and no. We will loose traffic from cracked players being legit but being cracked we will loose traffic from legit players. Even if cracked servers are showing up on the in-game list (are they?) with this crack legits still can't join them from in-game anyway.

Yea i agree. most ppl dont even know what a torrent does, let alone what it is. Well...at least in the US.

if you are legal all you have to do is connect from website off the xfire link below servers stats on the main page it will work for every one now
